I had the first version (HMDX-Go) for about a year and they worked GREAT for disc golf, as stated by another. However, I just got the HMDX-Go2's from BestBuy just in the last hour, and WOW does the bass sound like crap!!!!!

Few notes:
1. These will only last for about a year with occasional use (2x a week) and then the bass seems to go, eventually.
2. The Go2 look better by design, speakers are better protected, external volume controls, but like I said, they sound like crap!

I went back inside best buy after testing them in my car immediately (with bass-heavy songs, which the original Go COULD handle) and was astonished as to the static and noise I was getting, you couldn't even hear the song. I walked right back inside best buy and tried 3 other units right int he store, all were very similar.

How is it nobody else has had this problem!?!?
